I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington (LH60835736). My educational background is in counseling psychology (M.A., The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology) and human learning/development (B.A., Maryville College, Maryville, TN). In addition to private practice, I have 10 years clinical experience in a range of settings including community mental health, psychiatric inpatient treatment, crisis intervention services with youth and families, and counseling and case management with first-generation immigrants and refugees. My prior professional background was in PreK – 12 education.
I regularly engage in continuing education and professional consultation at The Center for Object Relations (COR), Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study (NWAPS), and The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology.
